The Medi-Select Advantage plan offers flexible coverage for Canadian snowbirds with or without pre-existing medical conditions. Benefits include hospital accommodation and physician fees, ambulance services, emergency air transportation, paramedical services, private duty nursing, flying someone to your bedside, returning your insured travel companions home, and much more.

Viacare

ViaCare offers coverage very similar to Medi-Select Advantage, but with significant discounts for travellers to select regions of the southern United States (25% lower than regular rates for Southeast Florida, 20% lower for Phoenix-Maricopa). In order to use this plan, you must agree to use the insurer’s network of preferred medical providers in these regions. Otherwise you must pay a portion of your medical bills.
